What driver's manual do I need?
This is a loaded question because you could be looking for one or more driver classifications in Minnesota.
- The Class-D Driver's Manual will help you learn the state of Minnesota's rules for driving a standard vehicle; car, van, SUV, and pickup truck.
- A CDL Manual will teach you the rules for driving a commercial vehicle in the state of Minnesota.
- The Motorcycle Operating Manual will help you understand the rules and regulations for driving a two-wheeled vehicle such as a motorcycle or scooter in the state on Minnesota.
Where can I get a Minnesota driver's manual?

How long does it take to receive a driver's manual?
- Retail manual orders are mailed via USPS First Class and should arrive within five business days.
- If you recently moved to Minnesota, please make sure your new address is registered with USPS to limit any confusion with the carrier.
- Make sure your name is updated on the mailbox in an apartment building. A delivery could be returned if the box lists a different persons name.
- Bulk manual orders are generally shipped with UPS and should deliver within 3-4 business days.

What are the fees associated with getting a driver's license in the state of Minnesota?
